In 1989, while the Soviet Union is about to collapse, a heterogeneous group of Estonian students go hiking into the mountains of Siberia, close to the border with Mongolia. The group’s different backgrounds and motives lead to fighting and hard feelings; the team has a very hard time holding together. One day on a very difficult hike, the group leader Olle gets lost in a lethal landslide. His team can’t help so they move forward to Buryat, a village at the foot of the mountain where a hostile Soviet, frustrated post commander locks them up in jail, where the terrifying legend about a ghost mountaineer catches up with them.. until Olle’s body shows up…
